About the tutor

Marcus Blackwell is the founder of the innovative curriculum and app Make Music Count. He created this new way of learning by realizing that math was involved in his passion of playing the piano. This realization gave him the confidence to pursue and achieve a B.S. of Mathematics. He believes that creative and culturally relevant ways of learning is the the way for every students to reach their full educational potential.
